Action in the Hennepin County District Court brought by Thomas D. Connaker as father and natural guardian of Maureen Connaker, a minor, to recover for personal injuries allegedly sustained by said minor when an automobile which she was driving was struck by one driven by defendant. Said Thomas Connaker also sought property damages and consequential damages on his own behalf. The case was tried before William C. Christianson, a retired judge, and a jury, which found in a special verdict that defendant was not negligent. The court thereupon ordered judgment for defendant, and plaintiffs appealed from an order denying their alternative motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict or for a new trial.
